NATIONAL SALES MANAGER

Requirements:
• Minimum 5 years broadcast sales experience, preferred.
• Extensive experience in agency business, ratings negotiations, forecasting, and account development is required.
• A proven track record of sales success.
• Preferred candidates will possess a deep understanding of the Tucson Television market.
• College degree preferred. Strong communication and math skills required.
• Excellent computer skills utilizing Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point. Strong internet and presentation skills.
• Valid Arizona’s Driver’s License and reliable transportation.

Description:
Make agency & direct sales calls with Telerep to national clientele for the purpose of generating revenue for the station(s). Service national offices and handle accounts as determined by Belo Tucson sales management. Develop a thorough knowledge of station’s policies, procedures and operations. Provide Telerep offices and agencies with information about stations (avails, research, specials, packages, rates and NTR opportunities). Present station information, negotiate business, approve orders, service clients and assist in maintaining inventory control. Knowledge of competitive programming, rates and ratings is necessary. Out of state travel and entertainment required. Have a dedication and the ability to develop relationships with the goal of attaining local Tucson contacts for national accounts.

KMSB/KTTU provides base salary and bonus incentive plan and exceptional benefits within 90 days of employment.
